Events are a great way to raise awareness of ZTC, and we have hosted 7 of them so far. Thank you to BCcampus for helping us offer food and treats at these events. Food brings community together!

Faculty Events

In order to promote ZTC to BCIT instructors, Ian Linkletter from Library Services visited all 5 BCIT campuses. He taught faculty about open education and how to mark a course ZTC in the Course Outlines system. A learning objective for these workshops was to promote faculty understanding of what ZTC means before marking their course.

Student Events

We also want students to know how to check if their course is ZTC before registration, and held two pop-up events at the Burnaby Campus Library. These events invited students to share what they spent on textbooks this term.
